I am currently designing and building a mid century modern bar cart, emphasizing clean lines and functional proportions. The project includes concept development, material selection, and hands on fabrication. The most valuable learning has been in joinery — the cart uses mitered, dado, and mortise and tenon joints — and understanding when and where to apply each type has been a key part of the process.
